On February 20, 2009, I decided to spend my peaceful Friday evening trying to put together some solid demo tracks of my songs. Instead, I ended up creating this little piece of music. I think it's kind of fun. It utilizes my Ibanez GAX75 guitar and my 1995 Fender Standard Jazz Bass, run through a Line 6 TonePort GX straight into Line 6's Gearbox software, and recorded via ASIO driver into ACID Pro 7 software. You think that's nerdy information? I used one of Lincoln Brewster's POD X3 Live patches for the guitar (Variac hi-gain) and my own Jaguar (Aguilar) creation for bass. Post-compression and EQ was added to the bass. Post EQ was added to the guitar. I also used a series of Sonic Foundry loops I acquired many years ago. They sound sweetlicious and form the basis for all the drum and keyboard/synth parts. I sincerely hope you enjoyed this little piece of pseudo-soundtrack music!
